Join The Dalai Lama In Bloomington Indiana

 The Dalai Lama will be visiting the Tibetan Cultural Center in Bloomington October 23-28, 2007, and presenting teachings at Indiana University from October 24-26, 2007. For more information, visit the Tibetan Cultural Center.

Dedicated to the people of Tibet, the Tibetan Cultural Center, located on 90 acres just south of town, offers a relaxing and peaceful setting for meditation and reflection. The Tibetan Chortens here (2) are the only ones in the nation. The TCC was established to acquaint people with the history and culture of Tibet and to support Tibetans everywhere. Throughout the year, it provides a place for workshops, teachings, seminars, initiations, retreats and ceremonies relating to the Tibetan culture. Meditation sessions are held every Sunday followed by informal discussion. Visitors can view a permanent sand mandala as well as many other works of art on display.
